About Emma

After earning a degree in UX Design and starting her first big girl job as a web designer and user researcher at an academic library in 2022, Emma realized she needed to nurture her off-screen life.

Emma’s been an artist since childhood. She’s a been a concert master, a songwriter, a rock band front woman, a competitive choir member, and a live theater performer. But, when Emma stopped performing in early adulthood, she lost her creative spark.

In 2020, Emma discovered love for crafts and fine art. She’s since fallen in love with knitting, crocheting, sewing, block printing, ceramics, and print design. She simply cannot commit to a single medium, and she likes it that way!

When she’s not crafting the day away, Emma also loves to bake, practice aerial silks and lyra, explore the upper peninsula of Michigan, and she still picks up a guitar every now and then.

She’s also the co-founder of Barn Cat Collective with her best friend, Em. These two gals went from cast mates, choir members, and high school buddies to adults with a literal LLC.
